Well done to our Y4, Y5 and Y6 students that took part in the Harris combined sports day yesterday. Supporting their team and respect were the subject of the day, playing fairly and congratulating each other and the other schools. School Trips and visits

Each Half term each year group will welcome a guest speaker or enjoy a trip, to reinforce their learning.  Trips and visits help to ignite the children's interest in a new topic or theme. 

Trips  might include:

  • The Cutty Sark
  • Greenwich Observatory
  • Local museums
  • Local theatres
  • Garden Centres
  • The O2
  • The London Eye
  • The Houses of Parliament
  • Our local shopping centre

Visitors to the Academy  might include:

  • The Mobile Farm
  • Fantastic Science
  • Theatre Groups
  • Religious Groups
  • Students from local secondary schools
  • TfL
  • The Fire Service and Police Service

We also ensure every Harris Primary Academy Orpington student has a residential trip experience during their time with us. Our trips are to a PGL site during the spring term of Year 5
